Drawings of being stuck in prison past your release date

You aren't allowed to leave prison in Illinois if you are homeless, and you are going to be homeless if you are banished from all housing.

We were in prison and counting the days to release. But when it was finally our release date, we could not leave because don't have a home. We don't have a home because Illinois residency restrictions banish us from all housing. So instead we waited in prison another 2 or 3 years, missing our family, until we were released to be homeless anyway. And we are still homeless.
